Wander Women.

Wander Women is a community-led walking group bringing women together for hikes across Devon and Cornwall, creating opportunities for connection, movement and time outdoors.

As the group continued to grow, founder Rowan Summers wanted the Wander Women brand identity to better reflect where she was taking the venture. I worked with Rowan to redesign the brand, creating a fresh visual identity that felt more confident, energetic and aligned with Wander Women’s evolving community. The brief was to create something distinctive and uplifting that could grow with the community while remaining easy to use across its day-to-day communications.

The identity centres around a bold, illustrated compass-inspired mark, supported by a bright colour palette and flexible graphic elements. I developed the logo and supporting brand assets alongside social media templates, giving Wander Women a consistent visual language that Rowan can use easily as throughout social media and her online scheduling platform as the group continues to evolve.

As a voluntary, community-focused project, Wander Women was particularly rewarding to support. It’s a lovely example of design helping a growing grassroots initiative build a clearer, more recognisable identity.
